St. Louis, MO - Overlooking the arches at the SLU Medical Center Track, several Principia College track and field athletes competed. Deirdre Wright worked on her approach in the long jump and managed to get in one legal mark of 4.24 meters. Soon after, five women raced in the same heat of the 1500-meter run. Kyla Pelletier (5:41.44) led the way with Shontee Pant (5:37.49) close on her heels with Lucy Weber (6:15.43), Brie Burns (6:09.60) and Abbie Steckler (6:07.66) following. In the 150 meters, Steckler took off and passed a couple runners to the finish line! It was a fun race to watch. In the men's 1500-meter run, Andy Crump followed his race plan finishing in 5:18.02
