ELSAH, ILL. -- Principia College athletics is pleased to announce that head track & field and cross country coach, Chuck Wilcoxen, has now completed his terminal certifications for Track and Field through the IAAF and the USTAF. In order to finalize his certifications, Wilcoxen had to complete a six month project following the final academic work done at the Academy. Coach Wilcoxen's research project explored how to best transition an elite cross country athlete into an elite miler (rather than a 5k or 10k athlete which would come more naturally).
