Elsah, ILL. -- The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released their Player of the Week Awards this afternoon and junior Shane Witters-Hicks has been named the SLIAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the second time this season!Witters-Hicks, a junior from Golden, Colo., claimed his second SLIAC Men's Cross Country Player of the Week award this season after competing in the Brissman-Lundeen Invite hosted by Augustana College. Witters-Hicks finished the 8K race in a time of 25:42, finishing 36th out of a field of 603 runners. His time was just 23-seconds off the first-place finisher, while averaging a 5:11 mile pace during the race. For Witters-Hicks the time also set a new personal best.
