Cross Country competes hard at AugustanaPublished by
Rock Island, ILL. -- Principia men's and women's cross country travelled to Rock Island to race at the Augustana Brissman Lundeen Invitational. The race is one of the fastest and finest races in the Midwest each year, and this year was no different. With roughly 600 athletes standing at the starting line for each race, the athletes had to negotiate traffic nearly every step of the way. 36 seemed to be the magic number for both teams, as each placed 36th of over 50 teams. The race was a great simulation of our upcoming regional race in November, the only difference being the addition of several D1, D2, and NAIA schools to the mix.
