Kash Allen set the indoor school record in the shot put as the Benedictine University track and field teams opened the season indoors at the Illinois Wesleyan First Chance Invite. Allen finished second in the event with a 12.91m mark as Benedictine sent a full contingent of athletes to the event. The mark is tied for 11th nationally early this season. Temi Osobamiro won the long jump on the men's side at 6.76m.
