CHICAGO – After qualifying for the 2014 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in two separate events in the month of February, junior Janis Pastars on the indoor track team has been named the February World Hyundai-Saint Xavier University Athlete of the Month recognizing his impressive recent accomplishments on the track.  Pastars was publicly recognized with a certificate from World Hyundai Matteson prior to Wednesday's 7 p.m. men's basketball conference playoff game against Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) rival University of St. Francis (Ill.) at the Shannon Center in Chicago.
