Romeoville, Ill. – Saint Xavier University senior Ashley Shares (Palos Park, Ill./Moraine Valley CC/Stagg) qualified for the 2014 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in the indoor 5K run (5,000 meters) over the weekend at the Lewis University Invitational in Romeoville, Ill.  Shares won the event completing the race in an impressive "A" standard qualifying time of 18:19.44.  Last year, Shares also qualified in the same event and finished ninth overall nationally at the 2013 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships with a stellar time of 18:06.70.
