Terre Haute, Ind. - It was an exciting meet for the student-athletes who competed in the excellent conditions at William M. Welch Track Complex. Lyssa Winslow loaded up with three high finishes in the shot put (13.00 meters/42 feet 8 inches) which she won. After winning that event, she went right to the discus throw cage where she has not competed in the past couple weeks and put up a best mark of 37.61 meters (123 feet 5 inches) for another win. And, then she concluded her day in the hammer throw cage with a second-place finish of 43.51 meters (142 feet 9 inches). On the throws side, freshman Lee Tarnow entered the discus throw and mustered a best of 27.29 meters (89 feet 6 inches).
