Kory Jackson Successfully Defends Long Jump Title at the Chicagoland ChampionshipsPublished by
Kory Jackson's victory is his second in a row at the Indoor Chicagoland Intercollegiate Championships and it puts him as one of the leaders in the event for the upcoming WAC Indoor Championships in two weeks. Along with his win in the long jump, Jackson also finished 5th in the 60m dash behind teammate, Tyler Whittler who best his best time this season with a 7.06 to finish third. This will have been the first time in 4 years the Cougars did not win the 60 meters for men. Whittler, who is recovering from a injury, won the event last year as a freshman.
