A pair of recently graduated student-athletes from Loyola University Chicago, Mike Janusek and Lyndsey Booker, have been named recipients of the Missouri Valley Conference's Emerson Excellence Award, it was announced today by Commissioner Doug Elgin. Janusek and Booker are two of six student-athletes that the Valley's Faculty Athletics Representative Committee voted to award $5,000 postgraduate scholarships to due to their exemplary academic and athletic performances.
