GULF SHORES, Ala. – (Live Video Streaming) The 63rd annual Men's and 34th annual Women's National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Outdoor Track and Field National Championships will bring in over 150 men's and women's programs to Gulf Shores, Ala., from May 22-24. This year, Vanguard sent seven student-athletes to Alabama to compete in the NAIA meet.

The Dominican University Department of Athletics announced on Tuesday that the University's student-athletes posted a cumulative 3.25 grade point average for the Spring 2014 semester, marking the department's highest cumulative grade point average in history.  The Stars have now posted a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or higher in 15 consecutive semesters dating back to December 2006 and have set and broken the department's high mark in each of the last three semesters.
