Allendale, Mich. – Senior Rexford Wiafe (Chicago, Ill./Calumet College/Bloom) turned in a NAIA provisional qualifying time of 1:55.64 in the 800 meter run to highlight a solid meet for the Saint Xavier University men's track & field team Saturday at the Grand Valley State University Mike Lints Alumni Open in Allendale, Mich.  Wiafe finished sixth overall in the event out of the 59 runners who participated in the race.  Wiafe now joins teammates, juniors Abel Hernandez (Alsip, Ill./Shepard) and Alan Guzman (Berwyn, Ill./Morton College/Morton East), who qualified back in December for the 2016 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships, which takes place from March 3-5 in Johnson City, Tenn.
