Senior Elizabeth Hampl and Freshman Brittany Thomas toppled schools records in the weight throw and 60-meter dash in the opening day of the Big Meet.

SIUE men s and women s track and field will compete with a split squad Friday and Saturday. One group will head to South Bend, Indiana, for the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational, and the other will compete in Columbia, Missouri, at the Tiger Invitational.
