The Saluki track and field teams picked up right where they left off in December after posting a solid performance in the men's and women's weight throw at Day One of the Kentucky Invitational on Friday.

After a month-long hiatus for the holiday break, the men's and women's Saluki track and field squads will return to action at the Kentucky Invitational this Friday and Saturday at the Nutter Field House.

The Saluki women's track and field squad has earned a No. 23 national ranking by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Indoor Preseason Computer Rankings, the USTFCCCA announced Tuesday.
